PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I have worked for the majority of my life outside the U.K. and of these years those since 1995 have been spent in Central and Eastern Europe starting in Russia and leading to Latvia which is where my (Latvian) wife and I now run our consultancy company, VCG SIA. I lead the services we offer which cover the provision of business advice for those who wish to set up some form of presence and include, if required, representation of investors who need either a local representative or just some “eyes and ears” on the ground. We are specifically focused on supplying what our clients need and are small (and personal) enough to deliver it precisely as required.
EXPERTISE
My specialty has always been personal and confidential service which I delivered over many years to a wide range of both corporate and personal clients. I understand the risks associated with investing outside one’s home country and am sympathetic to the concern that can be felt by such investors. With approximately 40 years experience in dealing with such matters I set minds at ease by putting forward solutions to worries and other feelings of disquiet.
